Highley Colliery Band would like to wish everyone a Happy & Prosperous New Year and would like to thank everybody who contributed to the bands cause over the Christmas period. Collections in Bridgnorth, Stourport, Bewdley, Ludlow and around the village of Highley raised £1255 towards the upkeep of the band, thank you to every one who gave so generously. Sadly due to the icy & snowy conditions prior to Christmas the band was unable to to get round all the streets of Highley to play carols. 2010 will be another busy year for the band and forthcoming engagements will be posted shortly. |
