Members of the band recently travelled to Riverside Studios in Bath to work on backing music for singer/songwriter Roger Tarry's forthcoming second album. Anthony James explains: " Its about 12months since Seb Pecchia (Riverside) Studios contacted me with the idea of backing one of Rogers tracks with a brass band. on Saturday 21st of March four of us went down to Riverside with Instruments to start working out the backing format with Roger. we had a great day and Roger & Seb made us very welcome. The next stage involves scoring the music for the whole band, much of this work will fall on Neils shoulders and then back to the studio with Roger. This is a different path to traditional brass band work and we are very excited about the project. The brass sound works well with Rogers haunting distinctive sound.
